A Banquet of Gold

Met Sal Maia, a desperate tavern keeper from the poorer quarter, bitter over Viceroy Kug’s grand banquet while hunger clings to the streets. They spoke of a shipment of exotic foods bound for the nobles and suggested “redistributing” it to those starving. They asked me to bring the matter before the Mayor, though they seemed doubtful it would help their plight.

# Step Summary NPC Bring Completion
1 Talk To Solazar   Alexander Solazar   I spoke with the owner of The Gilded Vine. He was proud, boasting of the coming feast and the riches it would bring. He asked me to make sure the shipment for the feast arrives safely at the port, warning me against any “disappearances.” Seems the nobles trust coin and convenience over conscience.
2 Locate Shipment Locate the Kug’s shipment.     I found the shipment down by the Cragkeep port. Enough to feed a hundred starving families for weeks. Standing there, I couldn’t ignore the contrast between the empty bowls of the poor and the gluttony of the nobles.
3 Pick Up Shipment Pick up the shipment.     Now I hold the fate of its contents in my hands. Do I return it to Alexander and secure favor with the wealthy, or deliver it to the Sal Maia and feed the hungry? There’s no right choice, only the one I can live with.
4.1 Bring Shipment To Sal Maia Take the shipment to the Sal Maia Innkeeper. Sal Maia ABanquetOfGoldQuest_Shipment x 1 I brought the shipment to the Sal Maia. Their eyes filled with tears at the sight of it. For the first time in months, the people here will eat more than scraps. I know word will spread, Cragkeep will remember what I’ve done, for better or worse.
4.2 Bring Shipment To Solazar Take the shipment to the Alexander Solazar Innkeeper. Alexander Solazar ABanquetOfGoldQuest_Shipment x 1 I returned the shipment safely to the Alexander Solazar. He praised my reliability, promising that the “right people” would remember my name.
5 Raport To Mayor Report to {Npc} Sebastian Montverde Mayor Npc   Mayor Montverde warned that Zlyto’s winds shift easily for those who climb too fast. Perhaps he’s right, but in Cragkeep, survival often outweighs conscience.
